Axminster designed the first four jaw scroll chuck for woodturning back in 1984. Today they have a range of chuck for all needs but more importantly they have a huge range of Jaw Sets to choose from. All Axminster chuck jawsa are bolted onto the Accessory Mounting Jaws (aka jaw slides). As the bolt hole spacings are identical on all jaws and all jaw slides, jaws are interchangeable amongst the Axminster chucks. It is recommended to choose jaws to match the size of the chuck.
