Olympic Peninsula Woodturners – Interactive Remote Demonstration

I will be demonstrating “Bowl Turning: Orientations and Techniques” for the members of the Olympic Peninsula Woodturners.

In this bowl turning demonstration, I’ll show a couple of different methods of holding blanks on the lathe for traditional and natural edge face grain bowls. I will also show different tools used to make essential cuts in the wood. I will demonstrate the turning of a bowl with emphasis on form, grain orientation and visual appeal. If time allows I will turn two bowls, one with each orientation.
