The Robust Extra Large Skew is an oversized unhandled skew chisel for spindle turning, long planing cuts, beads, coves, and larger detail work. Made from hardened and nitrided M2 high-speed steel, it offers excellent edge retention and reduced sharpening.
The 1-3/8″ wide x 3/8″ thick blade provides impressive mass and stability, helping deliver smooth, controlled cuts. The 3″ radius edge profile and small return at the top add versatility for shaping beads and refining details.
