The Robust Extra Large Skew with Handle is a heavy-duty handled skew chisel for large spindle turning, smooth planing cuts, beads, coves, and detail work. Made from hardened and nitrided M2 high-speed steel, it provides long edge life and reduced sharpening.
The 1-3/8″ wide x 3/8″ thick blade adds mass and stability for controlled cuts, while the 3″ radius edge profile helps with both sweeping planing cuts and decorative details. This version includes a 16″ solid maple handle with stainless steel ferrule and polyurethane finish.
