The Robust Extra Large Spear Scraper is an oversized unhandled spear-point scraper for larger woodturning projects, controlled shaping, and detail access where extra mass is helpful. Made from hardened and nitrided M2 high-speed steel, it delivers strong edge retention and reduced sharpening.
The 1-3/8″ wide x 3/8″ thick blade provides added stability, while radiused bottom edges allow the scraper to be used at an angle for more effective cutting. This is a useful choice for turners who want a larger, heavier spear scraper for bowls, hollow forms, and detailed scraping cuts.
