The Robust Large Skew is an unhandled skew chisel for spindle turning, planing cuts, beads, coves, and larger detail work. Made from hardened and nitrided M2 high-speed steel, it provides excellent edge retention and reduced sharpening.
The 1″ wide x 5/16″ thick blade adds stability for controlled cuts, while the radiused lower edges help the skew roll smoothly. The 2″ radius cutting profile and small return at the top make it versatile for both clean planing cuts and decorative spindle details.
