The Robust 1-1/4″ Spindle Roughing Gouge is an unhandled woodturning gouge for roughing square spindle stock to round, shaping spindle blanks, and preparing material for detail tools. Milled from solid high-speed steel and treated with Robust’s nitriding process, it offers durable edge performance and reduced sharpening.
The polished flute and 45-degree grind provide efficient cutting action for spindle work. This tool is intended for spindle turning only and should not be used for bowl turning.
